I moved to Israel from Long Island in 2022 and now I live in Beit Shemesh with my husband Ben and our five kids. On October 8th, 2023 — the night after the world changed — I started a WhatsApp group for our neighborhood so our teenagers would have somewhere to look that wasn't terrifying.
